2L Community,

Today is the first day of campaigning for student government. Who you elect will guide your social and academic experience in 2L. Above all else, it is important that you elect a student government that has your best interest at heart and will seek to provide you with an enjoyable, inclusive experience. There is no better way to ensure that a student government embodies both of those principles than to elect a government that is well-coordinated, communicative, and personable. As a group of students from every section, banded together through our mutual passion for service, commitment to providing an awesome 2L experience, and established friendship, the Golden Party can provide you with a student government that personifies those principles. Because of our common platform, we present a unique opportunity for you to choose people who have already pledged to work together and are committed to strong communication between SBA and the student body. Let it be clear that you are not required to vote for everyone on this ticket, but we strongly encourage you to do so. If student government is not something you are particularly interested in, then we encourage you to vote the ticket because you can be confident that everyone on the list is dedicated to fulfilling the position they are running for to their utmost ability and will be encouraged by the others on the list to do so.
